Las Vegas Massacre Update
Yesterday investigators updated the press, noting that they still have not discovered what motivated Paddock to massacre dozens.
They said they'd uncovered evidence that Paddock had researched SWAT tactics and other possible targets, including a famed California beach in Santa Monica.
They've also reportedly determined that Paddock acted alone when he opened fire from his high-rise hotel suite, Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo said.
Lombardo made public a preliminary report into the shooting and said he does not expect charges to be filed against Paddock's girlfriend, Marilou Danley, who had been previously called a person of interest in the case.
Investigators also found that Paddock had possessed child pornography, Lombardo said.
And, of course, no action has been taken by the congress or ATF to ban or discontinue bump stocks -- even though both Democratic and Republican lawmakers stated that they should not be available to the public immediately following the killing of 56 innocent concert-goers.
LE has also released several pictures of Paddock's suite taken right after the massacre, including the view from his room to the concert grounds.
