Hi Fry Guy,
I asked, perhaps should have stated that you were triggered because you told me to fuck off twice in probably one of the shortest posts I have ever seen you make.
2nd Point: I wanted to admit where my trigger points are with this story-that is all. Has nothing to do with the Covington Cathlic boys-I should not have even mentioned it. But this story reminded me of a story where a boy raped a girl and his dad stepped in-wrote a letter and said, "This will ruin his life" (he shouldn't go to jail) and even stated that he is a great swimmer etc etc. These stories have nothing to do with each other-but that is where my mind went and I admitted that. Go me.
3rd point: NO ONE EVER ASKS WHAT A WOMAN WAS WEARING TO PREVENT FUTURE ATTACKS OF FUTURE RAPISTS. EVER. SO REALLY JUST GET THAT OUT OF YOUR MIND NOW. It is a means to blame the victim and not the attacker.
4th Point: I think the media was wrong. And I am sure that I stated that in a couple locations in this thread-or at least once. And if I didn't I am now.
5th Point: I never said that the Covington Catholic boys called anyone a Nigger-however they did say they had one at home-I mean really-come on. If everything else they did that day was right-then please tell me that they can learn from this on how not to call out their fellow classmates as "niggers" or any other derogatory terms. Like I said before-I get it-they didn't know what to do. That is why this is a teachable moment. And also like I said-I asked-how did their fellow classmate who is not white-feel about this? The one that was there-and the one that wasn't there?
Point 6: I do not agree with threats or meeting violence with violence or any form of what has happened to the Catholic School. When I said repurcussions I meant-they will still be able to get into universities and have jobs and probably great relationships.
