I would think it was freaky if it were a song about cops killing citizens too. Maybe if it never happened here I would feel differently but it happens all the time. Cops killing people, people killing cops. There is a segment of America who have little to no regard for human life.it's a cover version of rap song Iced T or Cube one of those.
I think its to make the more broader to reach and audience who cannot relate to rap, so they also made it in a daggy 70s version. These guys are the most politically correct people on the Earth. They are on the right track. Very popular here in Oz.
What George Floyds death did for me, I saw a man, who knew he was murdering another human being. He watched and clearly he was receiving dopamine as a reward system in his brain. It horrified me. I could read him like a book. It wasn't his first rodeo. Can you imagine the audacity of his evil that he knew he was being filmed yet still showed no mercy because he knew nothing would happen.
Since then I have been readying up on your Black History, and I confess to being the stupidest person on the planet. This subject should have been talked about all the time. Instead it has been ignored by your media and life just carried on as normal.
I feel bad I didn't realise that Cracker was a hardcore racist and that my ignorance then allowed me no ability to challenge those ideals, and have the ability to recognise them in the first place.
