I loved that thread. I thought it was fun & interesting and the pix were fantastic.

I'm sure it was,  it just wasn't something that I was interested in at the time.    Every time I saw the title pop up,   the Hare Krishna song would pop into my head.

Well if you really want to read about the Monks pick up the book titled "Fire Monks" by Colleen Morton Busch. It is about the 2008 fires in California and how the Tassajara Zen Budhist monestary dealt with it.
