I would,  and have done something similar to,  this.  

I don't really care what other people think of me,  I like watching people's expressions when something weird is going on.

I'm working on not caring what people think of me. Maybe in a few years, I'll be able to go out in drag and not waste getting dressed up to sit around my apartment and take a few pictures. I know I say it every Halloween but maybe this is my year to go out in drag. Probably not though.

It would be a big step for you,  but I totally understand the anxiety that goes along with it  i hope you find a balance someday.
