You have me at a disadvantage. I am unaware (call me ignorant) of any Drag Queen being physically assaulted by . . . . what is the polite term . . . "protestors".
I am aware of at least two arrests, for assault, perpetrated by persons AGAINST the protestors. And at least one Queen, who was reading to kids, being a convicted sex offender.
Assuredly, we are all aware of the the constant media and talking-head input, labeling anyone voicing their opposition to these events as being white, racist, anti-everything, uber-Christian, uneducated, and . . . let's be real . . . card carrying MAGA members, election deniers and threats to OUR democracy. Exclusion of those, who voice opposition, against the self-proclaimed "Enlightened and Inclusive" thinkers. Selective.
However, I am far more aware of attacks, threats, shunning and terror, against persons (at public events), who do not embrace a philosophy in step with global and progressive ideology.
The incident at Stanford Law School, just last week, illustrates my point. At a law school . . . that should cause anyone concern.
Again, Drag is a profession . . . Transvestitism is a lifestyle choice.
Call it "Tranny Nanny's Reading Hour" and folks just might get on board, as a method of teaching inclusiveness to children.
Or allow male and female strippers to read to kids, while wearing their stage costumes. The whole Positive Body Image thing, right?
Yeah . . . Let's explore, with the kiddies, the true story of Dick and Jane . . . with strippers . . . or sex workers.
"See Dick . . . See Jane . . . See (wet) Spot."
