You mean you got an e-mail or pop-up claiming to be from Windows Security asking you to call a phone number?
legit companies never, ever request personal info via phone or e-mail. Never.

No actually I was in the middle of WEB MD asking a question about meds capability, and when I clicked on the answer box all hell broke loose. A loud voice came on saying Windows Defender came on saying it locked up the PC, and don't try to turn off your PC as it won`t shut off, and it wouldn't shut off. Call the Microsoft security number scrolling at the bottom of the page.
The agents at the Microsoft number talked to me for 1-1/ 2 hours, and they couldn't seem to fix it, so I then called my Geek Squad. In between I called my banks to advise them to notify me if any suspicious activity occurred, and not process it.
