I had to learn that lesson also. I am too god dammed patient. As a kid my mom would have us arrive 12 hour early at least, and then we would wait, wait, wait and she was always asking what was taking so long. It was excrutiating, I hated it, so I never wanted to be that person. BUt then something like what happened to Sally happened and its %$#^%$&##$

Patience is a virtue, but so is prudence. "Professionalism" doesn't preclude human error. Have reasonable expectations and life is less frustrating.

My mom is like yours. Arrive early, get frustrated waiting. I guess it's trying to be in control of how other people behave, which is impossible, but it is possible to respond intelligently to the difficulties life presents.
