One common theme that seems to occur around hurricanes is people (be it the general population, meteorologists or politicians) saying, as the hurricane unfolds, “well, it doesn’t look as bad as it might have been”. The next day they’re finding roads impassable, bridges collapsed, buildings destroyed and dead bodies stuck in flooded homes or cars…

I think they should just shut up until the day after when they get an actual opportunity to survey damage.

Today was the first time listening to live tv. Listening to the weather reporters was annoying. It hasn't changed at all.
