Even though none of my mom’s grandchildren are listed by name in my mom’s obituary (including my sister’s or my kids…they’re all lumped together under survived by….”numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews” etc)., my sister keeps nudging me to specifically mention her “emotional support cat” of 5 years by name in there.
