I've actually given reincarnation some thought and I decided it wasn't for me. As far as I can tell, I don't get to make the choice, as wonderful as coming back as a beloved pet would be, it would be just as awful to come back in the black hole of Calcutta. *worried look*
My understanding is you do get a choice via the life path you choose. It isn't random.
Well that disproves reincarnation for me. Why the fuck would I choose my current life?

True. Not totally unhappy with my life. Just figured I'd have a better/easier life. Shouldn't complain. If not for my brother Ed inviting me to hang out with his college friend years and years ago, I'd be a lonely reclusive introverted homebody and an even fatter fuck. It's nice to have real life friends(and online friends) to hang out with, smoke cigars, watch wrestling, and go on the occasional road trip.
