I’m going to go to my mom’s house sometime this weekend for a few days (by myself). It’s going to be so weird to be there without her (grief) and I get to reminisce about so many good times there too. Probably the last time I’ll stay in the house that was “home” for me starting when I was around 11.
Something I need to do but even more than her memorial service, this feels like a huge goodbye to her, my dad, my youth, my…foundation.
