People around here are more fearful of pride flags and wolves they say don't belong than a murderer in the woods.
On the other hand there are people expressing concern for his well being-in that he is a product of a failed system. They don't excuse what he did and still say it is horrific, but they have compassion for a veteran that sought help and didn't get it.
I drove by a small swat team camp yesterday on my way to the air strip.
One officer from Spokane came in to my work I said, "Thank you for being here" "Sorry you have to be" and he said hes not sorry. They are more than happy to be here and even with the tragic circumstances I think some of them enjoy the challenge ahead of them.
Its been a long week. I am still sitting in bed, but not in a depressive way. Just a "I need to rest and take care of myself way".

@BigMark surveillance cameras are nice. I thought about some of the wild life cameras that exist around here. The last update I heard is he is barefoot.
