Death begins at conception. When does it end?

I’m going to go out on a limb and say it ends when your heart stops beating, oxygen is gone from your brain and your organs fail. When you’re declared medically dead. 

But some who believe in an afterlife or rebirth or that souls live on might disagree. 

If someone believes strongly in rebirth, is there ever real death?
