The world would be a happier place without celebrities.

Oh jeebus Christ. Amish much? 

Buzz kill. 

Celebrities (in general) aren’t the problem.

If the American people had understood the significance of what the Roman poet Decimus Junius Juvenalis referred to as "bread and circuses", we would not be standing on the precipice of disaster; our masters, unfortunately, understand it all too well.

The highest degree of ignorance is to be ignorant of one's ignorance, and in that regard the American people demonstrate excellence -- rich and poor alike.
