I remember going to restaurants with my parents and everyone was smoking up a storm and putting their butts out on the plate. Really puts you in the mood for dessert.

Oh god, I remember my mother doing that when we'd go out from breakfast. A cigarette butt in the middle of runny yolk is one of the most repulsive things I've ever seen.
