I had an appointment to take my vehicle in next Monday and it has been moved to the following Monday. The shop has people out w/ covid and they are still waiting on parts. This is from an appointment that I had from last November. I'm not upset, I roll with things like this. There is nothing anyone can do. I did make sure I have the vehicle rental set up tho-because that would suck if they don't have any cars for whatever reason.

It was said that during the year 2020 due to people sheltering in place, and covid fears, people did not rent many cars.
However, the car rental companies were still paying huge carrying costs and insurance premiums on their inventory, without benefit of taking in comperable "rental fees"!

Consequently, the companies sold off much of their inventory to ease expenses.

Now as things are getting somewhat better, the demand for rental cars far exceeds
the current inventory of the rental companies.
Causing many car rental rates now to be exorbitant! (Hope you did ok)
