That is a huge positive that came out of that tragedy. Even if you are not an animal lover, the # of people lost was huge because many refused to leave their homes without their pets. i cannot imagine waving goodby to my dogs while climbing into a rescue boat. think i might have had to stay with them and taken my chances.
one of the things that gets me the most is how sensitive pets are to pain/fear. when i take my pets to the groomers they tremble in such fear... all those poor babies so scared and alone...
Spay and neuter your dogs and cats. Ban gas chambers in your local shelters. User made the call. User made a difference!
