I am an ex-smoker. I think in the west we are so hysterical about smoking now. In the Middle East you can smoke in the supermarket if you like, that's the way it used to be when I was there.

I still do occasionally sneak a fag but only when I am being bad with other nurses.

Smoking is a disgusting habit but I'm pretty sure cigarette smoke can't penetrate solid walls.
