ANOTHER SCHOOL/PUBLIC SHOOTING
There is an active shooter situation at the Pentagon. That's all I know as it's just now happening.

Did the MyPillow guy finally snap when he realized Trump isn't going to be reinstated in August or ever?

No, but that bozo has said publicly that he is losing millions daily after being dropped by a number of retailers. HaHaFuckinHa. He now says he's in charge of trump's inaugural parade that will take place by the end of August. He keeps moving the goalposts.

Today marks 2 years after 23 were killed in a walmart in El Paso Texas.
The suspect said he targeted Latinos.

That would definitely be a target rich environment.

It's being reported that a 15 year old in Michigan opened fire on school kids killing 3 of them and wounding 6 others. Apparently this just happened so take the reporting with a grain of salt, we all know how quickly things can change in regard to the news.

I just saw the picture of him, he looks like a little pshyco and his mom sounds like a fruitcake too.

The fruitcake doesn't fall far from the fruitcake tree.

I think the worst aspect of this event is that there were signs all over the place that this kid was about to go postal, they were brought to the school's attention, and the school's response was to tell parents that there was nothing to worry about. That's criminal, in my book.

I don't get why a Guard is not posted at every school entrance today.

While I agree with that, not every school is set up the same way. Not every school is 1 building with 1 entrance. The school I went to had 6 different buildings connected with breeze ways.

I have to research all of the previous shootings in schools-did any of them have armed guards? Was the shooter still able to get by them or enter another way? Has any armed guard been shot and or killed?

I did read one article saying an armed guard might have accidently shot someone else. That is unfortunate.

I am not pointing these things out to argue at all. Please know that. I have made lists of possible solutions to this problem-because I don't see it going away and I don't think there is one solution-and I am interested in talking about it.

This is fucking awful.

I think it was a sherriff on the other side of the door, but the students wouldn't risk it. Can you fucking imagine? And then escaping out of the window. This is thier life.

the smart school boards are training and arming teachers; others are hiring ex combat soldiers. Win - win in my book.

What good is that going to do? You'd need a security screening to prevent what happened. But in this case the school had enough info to warrant cancelling classes until the situation was thoroughly investigated, but chose to do nothing.

it's called suppression fire, and it works.

That is sad. The kid was posting about it on social media and the school told students they were over reacting.

I don't think arming every teacher and having soldiers everywhere is the solution either. It could be part of a solution-but it isn't the whole solution.

It's like a canary in a coalmine. It signifies that all is not well in our wonderful society. And it's hardly the only one. You can see them all over the landscape. Yet still we follow those who're responsible for this nation's demise. So prepare yourself, because the worst is yet to come.

When schools become a warzone, it might be a good time to consider just how civilized we really are.
