Stop what, making sense? You're perfectly fine with that senile fuck biden making reckless comments about nuclear armageddon, so yeah I guess you wouldn't be able to recognize common sense if it fell out of the sky and hit you in the head.

I support doing what it takes to end the conflict. Rooting for one side or the other is infantile and ignorant. "If you're not with us, you're against us". It's sad that you can't see the defectiveness of that mentality.

The conflict will stop when Russia leaves Ukraine. The end.

The conflict started because the US and NATO decided to militarize Ukraine. Russia will probably not leave until the US and NATO leave.

I get it, you believe the war is about a struggle of democracy and authoritarianism. You're image of Ukraine is what the government and news media tells you, victims of Russian aggression and fighters of freedom and democracy with Zelensky their hero at the front lines. But have you actually ever read about the history of Ukraine and Russia? If so then you know that the war isn't about their democracy and Putin being threatened by it, you would also know that Ukraine is one of the most corrupt countries in Europe with authoritarian policies and hardly a democratic model. To me that is not worth sending trillions of dollars of weapons over there that is not doing anything but fueling the fire and risking war with nuclear armed Russia. But you keep cheering for your favorite team like it's a football game as RC said.

What formed your opinion of Russia/Ukraine?

The Ukraine voted to leave Russia in 1998, or something like that.   The Ukraine is a democracy, but an infant one.  Whatever its faults, it is not an excuse for Russia to invade and commit genocide.

But reading your note Sally,  genocide is ok.   The whole of eastern europe doesnt want anything to do with Russia anymore.   Russia has broken every international law, and it doesnt care.  The history of eastern europe is exactly that, the past, Russia wants to go back to the stone age.   Everything moves on whether we like it or not.

So the senseless murder and rape of children is ok?    A disturbing post, you have your wires crossed somewhere.

An Indian saying is that if you let someone put their fingertip in your mouth, you will end up with a fist down your throat, which means the Ukraine would not be the end.   Your understanding of everything is seriously flawed.

Anyway Duchess, when you come over, London and its delights is first, then Marrakech in Morrocco, with its souks and bazarres, then Egypt, the pyraminds and a boat down the nile.

Then Rome, the sistine chapel, the colloseum, the Amalfi coast, then Milan to get you dressed properly, Paris, then the south of France, for some sun and hoi polloi with dukes kings and queens.

There is no evidence that Russia intends to exterminate Ukranians so your use of the term genocide is wrong. Their intent was to remove Zelensky from power and establish a pro-russia government. Were sending weapons so one corrupt side can fight with another corrupt side. So I still stand by my opinion that America cannot afford to fund another countries war when our own people can't afford groceries or gas.

No evidence?  Are you being serious?  There are pits full of DEAD civilians, including children in every town.  Blocks of flats are shelled and hit with rockets.   Do you know what happened in Bucha?

There is evidence of war crimes nearly everyday. Every time a town is liberated, the Ukrainian military finds evidence of torture chambers as well as the bodies of those tortured. Those fuckers are firing upon people riding their bikes down the street and families in cars fleeing are shot at by tanks. The list is endless.

It's not hard to find Ukrainian journalists and others who are covering this who backup their reporting with video & pictures.

There are civilian casualties and war crimes in every war. If you want to call that genocide then America has a very long history of it. And now we're indirectly fueling this war too. With a nuclear armed Putin no less. Look how many kids are killed in Yemen daily.

I wasn't referring to civilian casualties.

Euromaidan was the result of more than 50 Western NGO's in Ukraine organizing "protests" because the government wasn't pro-NATO. The US embassy was orchestrating everything, and decided who would be included in the new government. That's the antithesis of democracy.

If you're going to discount Russian reports of atrocities then you should discount Ukrainian reports as well, and the Russian accounts go back to well before the war got underway, some of which were validated by Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International. Additionally, some of the Ukrainian battalions wear Nazi insignia, and these were deployed in the Donbass region and used against the civilian population.

these events are very similar to how ethnic hostilities were exploited in the Balkans after the collapse of the Soviet Union, which erupted into full scale war while the West sat on it's fat fucking ass and did nothing while the Serbian military was in the open on the highway. Claimed it wasn't any of their business, but they'd poured gasoline on the region and lit the match that set it ablaze. Now they're using Ukraine just like they used Kosovo, as a proxy to fight against a nation that has vast resources just waiting to be exploited by the Western oligarchs that finance every single Western government, a good number of which reside in The City of London, which is governed by a private corporation.

You want to talk about the British secrecy jurisdictions that manage more than half of all of the dirty money in this world, administered by "prestigious" accounting firms like KPMG and Delloite? This is the backbone of Western imperialism, and puts the lie to everything you've said about this conflict being about the defense of "democracy". In the new empire you let the natives fly their own flag and have free and fair "elections", bought and paid for by those mentioned above. And yes, The US is a big part of this operation, but The City of London calls the shots.

I've got tons of documentation to back up every word I've said, all you've got are reports by Western propaganda outlets owned by Western oligarchs, none of which are the tiniest bit more ethical/objective than their Eastern counterparts.
