I don't know how to get the video into Mock so here's the thread where I saw it.

Who's reporting this?

MSNBC. They look like agent provocateurs because this hasn't happened until recently. Again, this is a common tactic that has been used to discredit activism for decades.

Let me know if you see MSNBC reporting on the ICC preparing to issue arrest warrants for Israeli and Hamas officials for crimes against humanity, or Israel's refusal to allow the UN to investigate the devastation in Gaza, including the mass graves that have recently been uncovered.

The Post Millennial is MSNBC? That news outlet is Canadian.

Thanks.

Raises the question of how these protests were organized and what sort of leadership exists, if any.

A week ago the media was saying that the protests are anti-Semitic, in spite of the fact that a significant percentage of the protestors are Jewish. When even Jews are slandered in the media for criticizing Zionism, it's pretty obvious that state policy has nothing to do with the will of the people. Policy is made at the top and "we the people" are brought into line with it by means of public relations, which is precisely what Edward Bernays stated in his 1928 book "propaganda":

Quote:The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country. We are governed, our minds are molded, our tastes formed, and our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of…. It is they who pull the wires that control the public mind.

I saw some of the people that are holed up in the Hall. They look like thugs, many of them are wrapped up from head to toe and a lot of them are covering themselves with the type of scarves we see in the Middle East.

I didn’t like to see LEOs going in and arresting peaceful protesters and I like this type of bullshit even less.

Now I’m hearing a left leaning news organization refer to them as professional agitators.

Democracy Now has been providing some balanced coverage. It surprises me because the billionaire class is 110% in support of Israel and PBS is dependent on corporate donations.

Thanks!

I want to support those young people, but I feel that a lot of what they are doing now is defeating their purpose and I've begun to think some of it is downright dumb. Don't destroy stuff. Don't stop traffic. Don't be little assholes.
