Epstein dead?!
#61
Bill Clinton has not been accused by any of them of having engaged in orgies or sexual activity in any of the reports and interviews I've read.  However, he did fly on Epstein's private jet several times (which he admits; Epstein was a big political donor) and a couple of witnesses claim Clinton visited Epstein's infamous private compound in the Virgin Islands (which Clinton denies).

Donald Trump has been pictured with Epstein many times and characterized Epstein as a great guy who also loved women, young ones.  But, I've never seen Trump accused of sexual crimes or misconduct in relation to Epstein.

Prince Andrew, who reportedly had a close friendship with both Epstein and Maxwell, has been accused of having sex with the same Epstein-trafficked minor who claims she was forced to have sex with Dershowitz (gag).

Both Andrew and Dershowitz deny the accusations, though Andrew was pictured with his arm around the teen and an Epstein employee claims he saw Andrew grinding on the girl by the pool, and Dershowitz admits to getting a massage at one of Epstein's playgrounds by a woman he says was 'old'.

Anyway, Maxwell is scheduled to appear in a Manhattan courtroom on Friday.

The Latest Reported Facts

Jeffrey Epstein's longtime confidante Ghislaine Maxwell was transferred Monday to New York to face charges that she recruited and groomed women and girls, one as young as 14, for him to sexually abuse, the Bureau of Prisons confirmed.

She has also been accused of joining in on the sexual abuse in some cases.

Prosecutors have asked a judge to schedule a Friday court appearance in Manhattan federal court for for Maxwell, 58, who was arrested last week at a $1 million estate she had purchased in New Hampshire.

Maxwell has been indicted on multiple charges, including that she conspired to entice girls as young as 14 to engage in illegal sex acts with Epstein from 1994 through 1997.

In a letter to a judge Sunday, prosecutors said they have communicated with Maxwell’s defense lawyer, Christian Everdell, who would like a Friday bail hearing where she will be arraigned.

Prosecutors have said Maxwell “poses an extreme risk of flight.” Maxwell has three passports, is wealthy with lots of international connections, and has “absolutely no reason to stay in the United States and face the possibility of a lengthy prison sentence,” they wrote in a memo.

Maxwell is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. The jail has had its share of troubles in recent years, but it's not the same facility where Epstein died.

Donson, who advises white-collar criminals on what to expect in prison, said the lockup on the Brooklyn waterfront is akin to the federal prison system’s version of a high-rise apartment building — highly secure, with elevators to move inmates from floor-to-floor, air-conditioned cells and limited room for recreation or other activities.

The Bureau of Prisons has been the subject of intense scrutiny since Epstein took his own life while in custody in August, which Attorney General William Barr said was the “perfect storm of screw ups.”

Donson said he expects Maxwell will be closely watched while she’s in jail, possibly even with a working camera fixed on her cell, to avoid a repeat of the errors that authorities said led to Epstein’s demise. Under the prison system's coronavirus protocols, Maxwell faces an immediate 14-day quarantine and testing for the Covid-19 virus.

I'll watch her. You don't even have to pay me. Just give me a meal every 6 hours.

What is it about Epstein's face that makes him so odd looking?

It's a good watch for those interested in learning more about this sleazy case.  There are interviews with the accusers, some of the law enforcement officials who'd pursued Epstein for years, prosecutors, defense attorneys, etc.

Ghislaine Maxwell's background and relationship with Epstein is also covered, as is the question of "murder or suicide?".

I found some youtube videos of a 60 minutes episode on him. Luckily I got interupted by a phone call. It is sad to watch and listen to how he preyed upon young girls. And how many people had to be involved in order for it to happen.

To the best of my knowledge, there are no pics of Clinton on the island.

However, there was a cheeky painting of Clinton hanging in one of Epstein's multi-million dollar homes.

It was the work of an Australian art student who also painted one of George W. Bush  (both pictured below).

The artist didn't know who purchased her work at auction, despite claims by internet conspiracy theorists.  https://news.artnet.com/art-world/bill-c...in-1628437

In terms of the actual/factual connection between Bill Clinton and Epstein/Maxwell connection:

--Bill Clinton's name reportedly appears on the passenger log for Epstein's private jet (nicknamed "Lolita Express") 26 times.  Clinton claims he only flew on it four times, however.  Ref:  Netflix documentary:  "Jeffrey Epstein, Filthy Rich"

--It's public record that Epstein's cohort, Ghislaine Maxwell, attended the wedding of Bill and Hillary's daughter Chelsea in 2010. Ref:  https://www.thecut.com/2020/07/ghislaine...madam.html

Yeah, Epstein was a real sleaze bag (and con artist).  No doubt.

I agree there's no way that he and Ghislaine Maxwell could have groomed and abused so many minors and young women for decades without complicit silence (at the very least) by many of their friends/associates/employees.

It'll be interesting to see what comes out as a result of Maxwell's arrest.

There is a painting of him in a blue dress someplace.  hah  That's what I immediately thought of. It might go up for auction soon. I almost forgot about that.

I just found it. It was hanging at Epstein's house I wonder if he sat for it now.  hah  Good God!

Death. Probably. She will be infected so bad by the corona virus and will probably die as a result of it.
I saw an interview w/ one of the victims and I keep hearing about others involved but they won't name them.....what is up w/ that?

I don't think prosecutors will publicly publish/release victims' names (especially those who were minors at the time), Mirah.

But, some of them have have chosen to go public on their own.  Several of the victims and alleged co-conspirators are named and depicted in the Netflix documentary.

As for pursuing active co-conspirators beyond Ghislaine Maxwell, it's a little tricky for prosecutors since some of the women who lured underage girls to Epstein reportedly started out as victims in his pyramid of trafficking. https://www.cnn.com/2019/09/27/us/jeffre...index.html

Yeah, I wasn't sure if you meant other victims or other alleged participants.

In terms of whether Epstein and Maxwell pimped out the girls and women they trafficked for their selves to others in their elite circle, aside from Prince Andrew and Alan Dershowitz, I haven't seen anyone else named either.

It could be that it was primarily a self-serving endeavor for Epstein and Maxwell and people around them just looked the other way, or that prosecutors don't want victims to reveal names of others involved while they're building a case.

Anyway, if Maxwell ends up going to trial or trading info for a plea deal, we'll probably get a much clearer picture of who all was or wasn't involved.

Update:

Ghislaine Maxwell is seeking to be released on bail while awaiting trial.

Her attorney proposes $5 million personal recognizance bond, travel restrictions and home confinement with GPS monitoring at a residence in the Southern District of New York.    Prosecutors claims she's too high a flight risk.

The bail hearing is scheduled for July 14th.

Last night, her attorney claimed that the federal indictment against the British socialite on perjury and sex crimes against minors is "meritless."

The filing was a response to a civil lawsuit brought against Maxwell and Epstein's estate in January by "Jane Doe" who alleges she was first approached by the pair in 1994 at a summer music camp in Michigan. She was only 13 years old.

"Jane Doe was their first known victim and was subsequently abused by Epstein and Maxwell for years as a young girl, suffering unimaginable physical and psychological trauma and distress," the complaint alleges.

"Maxwell also regularly facilitated Epstein's abuse of Doe and was frequently present when it occurred."

The details in Doe's lawsuit are similar to the allegations of one of the three minor victims.

In the Thursday night filing, Maxwell's attorney Laura Menninger issued broad denials to almost every allegation in Doe's complaint and claimed that whatever physical and psychological damages Doe might have experienced did not come from Maxwell.

She went a step further by blaming the alleged victim. "(Doe's) damages, if any, were the result of her own conduct," Menninger wrote, adding that Doe had "voluntarily or negligently assumed a known risk" and had "consented to the alleged conduct."

I don't think that's a very smart defense.  Minors aren't legally able to consent.

Yes, that's true.

It's true with most victims of pedophiles, as well as minors who are groomed for sex trafficking.

It doesn't change the fact that children and minors aren't legally able to consent and that adults who prey on children and minors for sex are committing crimes in the U.S.

Minors are legally able to consent in abortion and many States do not even say they need parental permission either. It all depends on the circumstances and the persuasion of the judge. They may give consent at 16 to who they want to live with Paternal or Maternal. Consent is a wide road.

I'm not in any way defending the sex deviants here but it is questionable on what is consent.
