I saw a video of a couple of protesters pointing out a conveniently and suspiciously placed pallet of bricks that weren't anywhere near a construction site. The protesters are getting savvy to obvious setups.

They sure try to. It was great to see so many of them tackled and in some instances handed over to cops. Some of the protesters have been filmed trying to stop them, many telling them (looters) they'd get blamed for the vandalism/looting. I'm not saying all of them have been white, they haven't been, but many of them have been. Fuckin' trouble making crackers. I saw a lot of video of LEO's doing the looting and vandalizing too.

While I have seen some of the protests around the country & the world, I've mostly been watching the DC area.

I don't know if proud is the word, I mostly feel sad watching this shit go down. Sad that it's even necessary in 2020, sad that they are all risking their health. 

I'm still outraged that some pastors would encourage people to congregate in enclosed space and I think those that go along with it are dumb. I waffle between saying they deserve what they get & thinking stupid people need to be protected from themselves.

I am debating going to the "protest" this weekend after hearing the organizers talk about it on the radio. It is also a vigil, which I am fine with. It just sounded hokey the way they presented it as "Just a bunch of sad moms who recognize their privilege and want to do something in support, but we are in no way protesting our local law enforcement, we want to make a difference"

I can't find it now, but I saw a picture of a little white girl holding a sign that said Privileged with an arrow pointing towards her face and black lives matter underneath. That is disgusting and fucking child abuse. None of this is doing anything to address the problems with corrupt law enforcement and our criminal system. But you go on embracing these white people and I'll go on hating them.
