Yes. Speaking as a person that has done both I believe that I'm still smaller than both and stronger because of it.

Oh, love child has lots of problems.   I wanted to know what her problem was with this meme.  I don't agree with the meme, but I've seen it around Facebook lately,  memes are easy enough to ignore unless you have a problem  ?‍♀️

I went to Catholic school for 12 years and went through all the things, Baptism, Confirmation, Graduation. Then spent 4 yrs in the Navy as a Radioman. Traveled all over Europe, Scotland, France, Spain, Italy then when I got out I was offered a job in the Merchant Marines. I said Fuck you and built Condos under Reagan and made a bunch of dough. Got divorced lost everything then got into HVAC. I'm almost done but not finished.

I don't have a problem with Jesus or with American Soldiers.

I feel uncomfortable with equating a person or entity with Jesus. I know the meme wasn't neccesarily doing that. I am grateful to live in America and have the freedoms that we have here. My faith in God surpasses love of country. Allegiance in God transcends all nationalism. God and Jesus are God and Jesus of everyone on the planet, not just Americans.
Again-I know the meme wasn't saying that, but it is a real close line for me. 
I pray for our government leaders and institutions and I pray for those in all the world.

And finally, I know many soldiers that are suffering and continue to suffer. They don't have the medical help they need and some live in poverty. That makes me extremely sad-the fact that they did fight for us and then to return to thier country and suffer PTSD and other ailments and are unable to recieve the proper care they deserve. We need to do better as a country taking care of those soldiers we say we so much love on social media.
