No one should ever assume that Members stop posting because they are thin-skinned, it's been my experience that it's never that at all, rather, it speaks more to our likeability and not wanting to spend time hanging out with us.

Yeah probably so or they just get bored and move on. But HotD was here for years and Crash said that "she misses the old you". I dont know if that was directed to Maggot because he started the thread or everyone in general. But neither Maggot or anyone else here has changed that I can see.

I've never really promoted Mock in order to grow her membership and sometimes I wonder if I should have. I once put her address in my profile someplace else, but that only lasted about a day. I kept having the reoccurring thought of "be careful what you wish for, you might get it" and that made me uncomfortable. We all have asshole tendencies, people can handle that, but my concern was in drawing the attention of people like Moose and we don't want that. Crazy muthafucka.

There's me, and COVID, and the fact that social media in general promotes orthodoxy and tribalism at the expense of critical thinking.

Yeah I couldn't tell who that comment was directed at.

Duchess most forums I see nowadays have about this same # of people posting.
