SUBMISSIVE WOMEN
#1
I knew these women were out there, but I very rarely encounter them. I'm a control freak so wouldn't have anything in common anyway.

Someone drew my attention to this woman so I took the time to read. Not only was her comment appalling to me, so were those who responded to her.

https://twitter.com/ReformedLogic1/statu...7518636032

"I asked my husband if he wanted me to vote this year, he said going forward he doesn't want me to vote...and I couldn't be more relieved. I truly think things like voting and law enforcement should be reserved for men only."

Men of Mock, is this sort of submission appealing to you?

Women of Mock, is this type of relationship something you'd be interested in? If so, why?

I absolutely would not be able to maintain a relationship with a submissive woman, and most likely my own personality would drive such a person crazy.

I think all women have mild submissive tendencies that are drilled into them by a male-centric society, and teaches them that they can't be obstinate or difficult or moody, and for the most part should be reserved and subdued or be perceived as a hysterical female. You are all still laboring under the combined yoke of patriarchal society and religion, which is one of the worst possible things you can inflict on a woman or girl. If this woman is real, and I doubt it while acknowledging these women do exist, then she is almost certainly a very religious cleave-unto-thy-husband type.
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.

I haven't read all her comments, but those that I have lead me to believe she is very religious.

"Biblical submission to my husband's requests which are always having my best interests in mind."

Yes, I don’t like doing anything lately, fine by me if the man wants to carry all the weight on his shoulders. “Honey, you’ll need to call up Spectrum and stay on the line with them for a half hour trying to figure out why our internet is not working, you know I’m a woman and can’t handle such things”. “I’ll just go get drunk at a bar somewhere and not worry about anything, not even voting.” Yep, I’m good with that.

For the life of me I cannot see you in the role of a submissive woman.

Not really submissive, just ok with a man doing everything for me. Kind of like having a slave who thinks in his delusional head that he’s a man and better than me and I’m not capable of anything but household chores. For example he’ll drive the whole 17 hour road trip because he knows I’m a woman and drive like shit, I’m ok with things like that.

I remember a video interview about Andrea Dworkin's marriage. Her husband stated that he would wash the dishes and then Andrea would inspect them to make sure he'd done an acceptable job.

They didn't mention their sexual relations, thankfully.

I don’t even think women should have the right to check the mailbox, that’s a man’s business. I think it’s just bills and letters from the IRS, stuff I wouldn’t be interested in anyway. Occasionally old Shirley Baker writes me a letter, my husband tells me the poor thing isn’t getting around like she used. He says the gout is really getting bad.
