Youth is wasted on the young. I had to get old to understand that.

Mostly true. I'm sure there are some young people  somewhere making good use of their youth. Not me. I totally wasted my youth......50 year old virgin, etc.

I used to say life roles should be in reverse. You didn't have to work in your youth, you got your SS up to the age of 55. So you could do and enjoy all the things you wanted while you were young.
Then, at 56, you went to work and worked until you dropped dead.
Yeah, it has flaws, but it sounded good.

I've been doing a lot of reflecting on my life lately.

The changing of sunlight to moonlight
Reflections of my life
Oh, how they fill my eyes
The greetings of people in trouble
Reflections of my life
Oh, how they fill my eyes
Oh, my sorrows
Sad tomorrows
Take me back to my own home
Oh, my crying (oh, my crying)
Feel I'm dying, dying
Take me back to my own home
I'm changing, arranging
I'm changing
I'm changing everything
Everything around me
The world is
A bad place
A bad place
A terrible place to live
Oh, but I don't want to die
Oh, my sorrows
Sad tomorrows
Take me back to my own home
Oh, my crying (oh, my crying)
Feel I'm dying, dying
Take me back to my own home
Oh, my sorrows
Sad tomorrows
Take me back to my own home
