I have been watching the nfl, and am struck by the quarter backs funk. If they run with the ball, and are faced with an opponent homing in, they slide to the ground before any one gets there.
Isnt that cowardice of the worst kind, an english rugby player would put his shoulder, head down and charge through.
Indeed, if you have watched rugby, thats all they do. It gains yards.
Let me say that again, it gains yards.
The nfl is for kids.

Once he's on the ground he is no longer considered fair game and he can't be touched without garnering a penalty. He's doing the right thing by getting down.

Pig, The QB goes down on the ground to protect himself from getting slammed by opponents and possibly getting seriously hurt. It's not like bashing Rugby.

I tried to ask gay Jesus. He's in the closet making out with Gay God and Gay Holy Spirit and told me to come back later.

Was he gay too.? I knew a rugby league player, not union, there are two codes, the league players are only up north in their leagues. He said that the constant collisions become ordinary, you get used to them, i played union at school, i knew what he meant.
Northern blokes are down to earth, solid, working class, tough as teak, if they saw quarter backs funk out, god only knows what they would say, contempt would be overwhelming. Their language would rival the language on here.

Yeah you can’t really compare rugby and American football. Rugby is war, lol. No huddles either. Much faster moving and brutal.
I wonder what the instances of traumatic brain injury are in rugby vs American football. I’m not sure if the helmets offer more protection or do more damage.
Some QBs will run more than others. It’s based on their ability and I’m sure requires a blessing from the coaches/owners. An injured QB can devastate a team whereas in rugby, in my experience, the game less often rides on one person’s shoulders as much.

Im not aware of any brain injuries, in fact any injury is rare, unlike football, the slightest touch results in falling to the ground and constany injuries. There is the observation that if you commit totally physically, injury is rare, its when you engage half heartedly that injury occurs.
Im sure the armour your players wear is a hindrance rather than a help, and what is that towel for that they wear around their waists, its not for sweat is it.
Im not sure of the rules, sometimes defenders bring down an opponent anbd sometimes not, just push him away, why the difference, just bring the bastard down.

That's just what a person with a brain injury would say. How's your head, pork chop?
