It reached 80 degrees here today (still mid 50’s at night).
10 day forecast shows highs in the upper 70’s.
If this weren’t so freakishly weird I’d think we live in some perfect climate. It should be blazing hot out (or at least we should have suffered through a couple weeks of it by now) but nada. It’s kind of amusing to see national weather forecasts and all the red is on the east coast.
I keep thinking we’re going to get slammed with record highs at some point (maybe August).

I am grateful we have not had the 100+ degree temps this summer.

On the plus side, I was able to cook my breakfast on the sidewalk on the way to work this morning.

Starting Friday you have much cooler weather to look forward to, Clangy and I'm supposed to too, but first I have to get through this -

I can jump into the glacial fed lake now instantly. I might have to start my day off in the water tomorrow.

It's really not about the heat so much, it's more about the drenching "HUMIDITY" that stinks!

It's been so awfully hot & humid that summer plants that normally flourish this time of year are dying because they are burning to a crisp. I can hardly believe I have to pull plants in July because I'd rather have nothing than something that looks like crap.
