i don't know about in your area, but in my years in florida i found food lion to be dirty, with wilted second-grade produce, poor quality and possibly old meats. perhaps that was the exception and not the rule. Publix was great on all levels. and i liked Winn-Dixie when i wanted some REAL Southern ingredients or country ham~~

		Food Lion are the bottom feeders of the grocery stores here. They got busted some years back for selling old meat. Dirty, ill run place..
