Yeh, it's normal to recycle right? It's just a way of life over here. If you don't recycle, you don't have enough room in your bin for your garbage. that's how it works here. big bin, recycle bin, little bin your other miscellaneous shit.

1 normal bin, and 1 recycle bin per household. i think if you want a larger bin you would have to have like a larger household.

I recycle as much as possible. Plastic bags, however, I reuse more often than not. Great bin liners, and just the right size for taking cat shit out.

We hardly ever fill our garbage can.

They do here. We get 1 60 (I think) gallon square, anything above that has to be taken to the dump, at which point they charge by the pound.
