George Foreman vs Ron Lyle. Foreman looked like he was knocked out and finished, somehow got up and finished Lyle off.

I'd call this the fight of the century. Two warriors with huge hearts, pummelling each other non-stop for ten rounds. Extremely brutal, the two became best friends afterwards. True warriors are like that.

The real damage done likely will show up in the future.

It's like every sport, where the "superstars" make millions, everyone else make thousands, which kills sportsmanship and integrity. On the other hand, warriors are like artists, they do it because it's what they love to do.

Women are more ferocious and spirited from the fights I've seen.

Shevchenko and Nunes are monsters. This was a huge upset, but that's what frequently happens when you get to the top and have the endorsements and a bunch of other distractions that disrupt your focus and intensity. To be honest, I think Nunes is doping because her face looks somewhat mannish. There's substances that can't be detected if you use them intelligently. Not for building muscle mass, but to give you the ability to train without taking days off for recovery. Don't know if it's as bad as cycling, which is a joke, and has been for a long time. It's probably common in all major sports. You do whatever it takes to stay competitive.

If testing for performance enhancing drugs is similar to the testing racehorses go thru then the test is specific, meaning it can only find what the test is for, testosterone for example.

Back in the day when I was working with racehorses I had a trainer who was doping one of the horses I cared for, she went from a sweet girl to a raging maniac and would chase me out of her stall on a daily basis. I didn't know until after the fact that she had been drugged.

In cycling it's largely about who has the best sports "doctor", which means the teams with the most corporate sponsorships are most likely to "win". Lance Armstrong failed two drug tests the first time he won the Tour de France. The UCI knew he was doping long before it was finally addressed, which in my mind is a bigger disgrace than the doping. I think the reason this happens is because the corporations that buy endorsements want their endorsees to win and don't want their brands tarnished, so bribery and kickbacks are prolific. Money is what matters most in professional sports, including the Olympics.

Classic middleweight title fight from 1948. An aging Zale regains his title from Rocky Graziano, who was 9 years younger. Zale had bone fragments in his right elbow and couldn't fully extend his arm, but somehow fought like he was in his prime.

Love watching McGregor qitting like a bitch when he gasses out. Kabib did a better job of punishing him but Diaz made it look easy. Their 2nd fight he was running away when he got tired and then he'd go back and land a few more shots. That fight was draw in my opinion. Diaz is a legit ironman, McGregor a low-class punk who has no appreciation of sportsmanship. Sucker-punched an old man because he said his whiskey was shite, but still has an army of fanbois.
