He said in his Oprah interview that he doesn't get paid by the ministry. He made all his money off his books and stuff. I hope that's true. I am sure in the beginning he was paid by the ministry. But he has had 3 or 4 successful books. He does have a really great smile. He sometimes reminds me of a younger version of my Dad when he tells his stories and jokes.

I love Joel, we watch him every week. I know it is not politically correct in some circles, and even some of the circles I move in. But I am not ashamed, he is so inspirational and positive. He always have amazing life stories of extraordinary people and what they have overcome and achieved. You cannot help but be filled with motivation to achieve life goals.
