No, let's explore this.

She hears music coming from her window air conditioner.

I give her enough credit for having checked OUTSIDE her window to see if the source is outside. Since we haven't heard her say that the mystery has been solved, I'm guessing that there is nothing outside to which she can point as the source.

Ergo, the jury is still out. Sherlock

I agree.

Losing your mind really isn't that big a deal anyway since we aren't nearly as smart as we think and they'll give us a nice soft padded cell to keep all the crazy people from getting in and hurting us.

When I was a young adult I was on a bus. I'm always a little nervous on a bus because they are poorly maintained and usually driven by people with little reason to live. Well, at least many bus drivers act that way since they expect traffic to get out of their way. The shocks were worn out and I had to look out to avoid motion sickness and he hadn't used the brakes yet. He was speeding on a busy three lane highway. Much to my surprise a very seldom heard singer came on the radio doing one of my favorite songs. I could barely hear it but when the skip on my recording of it came this skipped too!!! Obviously it was some sort of low grade halucination. Now days they suggest that people are living in the left hemisphere of the brain and the right can "bleed through" under some conditions.

Let's just say I've never gotten anything but cold air out of my air conditioner. :wink:

I did have an 8-track tape player that squeeled when it was exposed to police radar though.

there was no music/radio today. it HAD to come from somewhere outside, but houses are not very close. i know i wasn't hallucinating, where Clad was probably experimenting with LSD Smiley_emoticons_shocked or mushrooms. hah

Mebbe that was window pane which I was looking through. :wink;

Of course things can have harmonic frequencies in the radio band and produce sound if the amplitude is high enough. I've seen stranger things than radio in an air conditioner.

i finally tracked it down this morning! i TOLD you i (mostly) wasn't insane!

behind my house is all woods. it goes way back, it's beautiful. anyway, it ends at a huge sandpit, i don't know why it's there. the sandpit has a lot of heavy equipment. so it's the men working there blasting a radio! but hell at 0600 it started this morning! that sound has carried a LONG way. and come through A/C vents or open window.

i'm going to stop by and speak to the gentlemen after i am dressed and on my way out. i can get to sandpit by road running by the lake. so i don't have to hike through the woods with the coyotes and sleeping werewolves. hah

I have finally gone insane. I have too much to do and not enough time to do it. I need a couple of clones. Going back down to Atlanta first week of June. Moving my brother and Scooby up here. Gotta get my nephew off to Ireland for his internship, get my niece squared away. All of that while I get my kids through the end of the year and Regents exams. A buttload of yard work. Oh and then there is the real work. I can't sleep at night thinking of everything I have to do.

I'm ready for my padded room now.
