WOULD YOU BE MAD?
#1
A father was pissed that his teenage daughter was handed this list on her first day of a new job. Apparently it's been around for awhile, but I don't recall ever seeing it. Is it something that would piss you off if it were handed to you or your kid?

I wish someone had given me this list when I was younger. Might have saved me way too many years of being a lazy, unambitious, spoiled asshole.

hah really? It means that that letter is real not made of fairy dust and unicorn ink. Blowing smoke up kids asses about bullshit narratives and make believe reality. That letter is like holy water to a vampire. Great job posting it!

I am pretty sure I saw this passed around in the days before facebook. You know, in email chain letters. So it really isn't about the "current generation" neccesarily, it is just an adult writing to people who are just about to graduate, which is a good time for "kids" to be reading this.
I wouldn't get mad if a boss showed this to my kid. (I don't have kids)
I think it is more appropriate for high school graduates.

This was also written before mass school shootings and the pandemic. Life is much different now, but the same rules still apply.

ALSO
I think adults could do well to learn something about the generations coming up. Every generation will complain about the next one or the previous one, but it really is helpful to look at all of the different eras, if I could find a web page I once saw that showed the differences I will post it.

My sister and I went through it and realized what differences we all went through-from world problems to technology advances etc etc.

It's a reference for liberal extremism, similar to alt.right, which is only used by liberals.

The list is just reality in life, the boss is not sugar coating what is expected in the workplace, and world. Work is work, that's why it's called work, it's not all fun and games.

If the list pissed off the dad, it's because he is a sugar coater!

If someone disrespected my child like that, and she is an extremely dedicated hard worker in her academic work. Not so much with household chores, but that's out stuff.
If someone did that to my daughter, I'm taking them over to the dark side. They are going to get a very rude awakening, I don't know what I would do but I would come up with something to put them in their place. I wouldn't yell like I see those crazy women on Dr. Phil do these days.
