Is it because he never returned any of your 1,000 tweets and emails?

By default, I saw a Michael Bolton concert at the Del Mar Fair grounds a few years back and he was surprisingly entertaining.

Now all I've got to do is get on board with Billy Joel and I must then decisively turn in my man card.

You would think, although I was shocked to find my older next door neighbor with his leather vest and long grey ponytail was a fan of Michael Bolton....

Although not at all a fan of his music, James Blunt hosted an episode of a briotish quiz show called 'Nevermind the Buzzcocks' (hilarious show) and James was quite a funny man.

Here is some Billy Joel for you: if you decide to listen, please hand in your man card at the door.

The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

John Mayer is shitty.

That is all.

Oh come on now, let's be fair to Billy Joel. Before he started driving into houses he used to put out some pretty damn catchy tunes. Movin' Out, Piano Man...and who doesn't sing along to Only the Good Die Young? Not his fault he fell victim to caricature. Happens to the best of them when they forget rock and roll is a limited lifespan game for all but a precious few.

I'm almost the only one in here that likes Bruce but that won't keep me from posting Merry Christmas, baby again this upcoming holiday season.

Never heard that one. But he does the best version of Santa Claus is Coming to Town I ever heard. Also I never tire of hearing Dancing in the Dark and Glory Days.

Ah yea, no. I think he is a total DB. So is Dave Mathews. I can't stand him either. His voice grates on me like broken glass.

'Crash Into Me' is still one of my favorite tunes to this day.

I wasn't a huge Mayer fan for his first 6 or 7 years, but I really liked his 'Battle Studies' album from a few years ago.

Not a big fan of Blunt, but try the UK's James Morrison. I like his stuff.

Also, I'd consider myself a fan of Springsteen.

For shitkicks, try Ed Sheeran's 'the A-team'.

Tell me if you like (anyone).

I like "Crash Into Me" as well. When it was first released, I thought it was a love song, then realized it's about a stalker. Still like the tune.

Also, like Springsteen, for the most part. "The River" is my favorite.

Find Springsteen's 'Trapped (live)'. I think you'll like it.

I actually enjoy some of his tunes away from the E-Street Band, like 'Tunnel of Love' and 'Human Touch'. Also like 'The Rising'.

Didn't really care for anything on Born In The USA (besides 'I'm On Fire' and 'My Hometown').

Now, when you get a chance, listen to the Ed Sheeran tune I told you about.

I still love "Born to Run" and I really like "I'm on Fire" - sexy song imo.

I'll give Sheeran a listen, MS.

He's a dead-ringer for Dan Fogelberg.

Actually, he's just 21 and from Scotland I believe. Seems to be a good songwriter.

Fogelberg got so shafted in terms of proper singer/song-writer recognition. Awink

P.s.: pspence is waiting to find out if you're a Rush Limbaugh fan.

Someday, Fogelberg will be dead, and you'll say, "I've been listening to him for years, and I think he's great!".

I am NOT a Limbaugh fan.

A complete blowhard. I cannot listen to the FOX News guys either. I vote Republican most of the time (deviated in '96 with Clinton), but not because of idiots like them.

pspence, I think you are a lovely lady. But, a basic reading and sarcasm comprehension test is past due, I'm afraid.

Please re-read the post where the RUSH connection was previously explained to you. If you still don't get it, we have taken a secret vote and agreed to sacrifice you to the big scary troll monsters who have been licking their paws trying to get at you. Focus; and good luck! Smiley_emoticons_wink
