BBH, I've been coming around on Trump.
He is extremely divisive, and I wish he'd flush his Twitter account down the toilet.
Last night during the Bears-Packers game I believe all players stood for anthem, with arms locked as a show of unity.
I hope this weekend the rest of the teams take this approach.
At first I was extremely offended by the players kneeling during the anthem, but I'm okay with it now.
Coach Tomlin (black) said it best after Sunday's Steelers fiasco in which one Steeler was seen standing at the edge of the tunnel for the anthem and everyone else stayed out of sight:
'We're football players and coaches first and foremost, and don't want to politicize the anthem. We've got so much on our plate right before a game begins.'
Unfortunately, there are many, many Americans that don't understand the kneeling and they're very offended.
I understand that viewpoint very well.
My hope is, the kneeling is done. That the players will know that they've brought attention to issues that need to be addressed and that football can go back to being about what happens between the lines.
