Finally, someone (in this case the board) realizes the magnitude of this issue, and had the balls to do something about it.

To have Paterno, in all his grand arrogance, say that he'd retire on his own terms, was going to be the ultimate slap in the face to the university, as well as all the victims in this case.

Well done, PSU Board of Regents. Well done.
