Hey! I think the dog holding the Guinness is a Flat Coated Retriever! They're a fairly rare breed. I have one that I found in a shelter as a puppy (thought she was a border collie). She was discarded because she has a little white on her chest. They're fabulous dogs.

Look at the nose... Irish Setters (even the liver-colored ones) have a black nose.

I've seen Irish setters that dark, but without seeing it in person, you could be right, Syber. I've always liked the flat-coated because it reminds me of a black Golden retriever, which is my all-time favorite breed.

I had one too in my early twenties (the dog is dead now) and you've only got to get past the shedding. They do shed like crazy.

The one I have was gotten by pure accident (like I said, I thought she was a Border Collie, kind of hard to tell when they're only a few months old and that's what the shelter was pushing her as), but she has the sweetest personality I've ever seen on a dog. Smiley_emoticons_smile
