We're lucky to have her in Mock. Blowing-kisses

"LC" left a tremendous void in here, and can never be replaced, (still miss her today) nevertheless HotD is taking up the slack respectably.

I second that and I want her to know how much I appreciate the research, documentation, posting, etc. Sometimes I am too lazy or whatever and I will mention something knowing that Hair will provide answers I need. Sorry I had to admit that, though.

WTF is wrong with you people? This thread is titled "Another Plane Crash," not gayness and Midwest's being gay. My personal belief on this topic is that if you want to discriminate against the gay community, or anyone for that matter, then don't go into a public business. No place for discrimination. It is currently against the law to discriminate for a bunch of reasons which we all know by heart. I would think the anti-discrimination laws would extend to housing as well. Simple really, equal rights for all citizens.

MS has been labeled gay in this thread, but he hasn't been treated any more or less fairly because of it.

hah You're in the wrong thread, blueberry. I think you meant to post your comment about discrimination here:
http://mockforums.net/showthread.php?tid...#pid390923

So, back to the thread topic: The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and European newspapers are reporting that Lubitz (I don't know if he's straight, bisexual, or gay) was recently being treated for vision problems. If that's true (or Lubitz believed it was true) and the condition was a serious one, it could obviously be devastating to a pilot's career.

WSJ and NYT are credible news outlets, but their medical or LE sources for the information are not identified.

And WTF is wrong with you? Did you forget where you are? Some of us have been teasing MS about being gay for YEARS! Get over it. Funny how you want to cry about going off topic and then do the same thing yourself. No one is talking about discrimination or business owners in this thread. Maybe you should read before you rant. And, FYI, there are anti-discrimination laws for housing, at least there are in the great state of INDIANA. Now...do you have anything to add to the topic of this thread because you seemed to have went off topic in your last post.

There was nothing sarcastic in your post, but that's a great excuse.

I figured your post ended up in the wrong thread. I was just playing around about MS and Lubitz's sexuality to tie it all together.

P.s. thank you for what you posted upthread.

How in the fuck do you know there was no "sarcasm" in my post. Now you are trying to tell me the intent of my comment. You just don't get it most of the time. That is why it is an irony that you even say the above on MOCK. You wanna keep on telling me what I meant, bring it on.......The root of your negativeness on what I post is based on my political views IMO. Understand this, my comment was total sarcasm, and I would own up if it were an excuse.....excuse for what? dang, you are being obtuse....

I think you deliberately took this thread, turned the autopilot on to descend to 100 feet in mountainous terrain, and are now breathing easy through your oxygen tube while you crash the rest of us in to unrecognizable bits.

^ It's so devastating Duchess. The plane hit the alps at 430 miles per hour, mostly leaving only pieces, dust, and garments to be gathered.

The Voice Recorder Tape
The German paper BILD is quoting an authority who's reportedly heard the voice recorder tape.

The account has been picked up by news sources worldwide and translated into various languages, though the official recording/transcript has not been released to the public.

Anyway, this is from CNN today. There are 1.5 hours of sound on the voice recorder.

• The flight took off 20 minutes late, and Capt. Patrick Sondenheimer apologizes for the delay and says they will try and make up for it in the air.

• Even before takeoff, the captain tells co-pilot Andreas Lubitz that he didn't manage to go to the bathroom in Barcelona. Lubitz tells him he can go anytime.

• The plane reaches its cruising altitude of 38,000 feet at 10:27 a.m. local time.

• The captain asks the co-pilot to prepare the landing.

• After the check, Lubitz repeats to the captain, "You can go now." There is the sound of a seat moving backward. After that, the captain is heard saying, "You can take over."

• At 10:29 a.m., air traffic radar detects that the plane is beginning to descend.

• At 10:32 a.m., air traffic controllers contact the plane and receive no answer. Almost at the same time, an alarm goes off in the cockpit saying "sink rate."

• Shortly after there is a loud bang on the door. The pilot can be heard screaming, "For God's sake, open the door!" Passengers can be heard screaming in the background.

• At 10:35 a.m., loud metallic bangs can be heard as though someone is trying to knock down the door. The plane is at about 23,000 feet.

• Ninety seconds later, another alarm goes off: "Terrain -- pull up!" The plane is at about 16,400 feet. The captain is heard screaming, "Open the damn door!"

• At 10:38 a.m., the plane is descending toward the French Alps, and the co-pilot can be heard breathing. The plane is at about 13,100 feet.

• At 10:40 a.m., it sounds like the plane's right wing scrapes a mountaintop, then screams can be heard one more time. Those are the last sounds on the voice recorder.

Those last moments are an eternity.

It must be difficult for all who have heard the actual recording. It's difficult to simply read. I don't EVER want to know fear like that. Please.

That's horrific. I can't even imagine the panic on board. I agree, an eternity... If I had to die on a plane, I can't imagine a worse way to go. I'd rather get blown out of the sky by an unseen missile. Those people suffered horribly.

I don't ever want to have to argue with her. She'll beat me down with calm logic to the point where all I want to do is hollar FuckYouFuckYouFuckYou. Donovan is the same way.

You have no idea how many arguments at home go just this way, and how enraged it makes my GF.

On news, heard about history of anxiety and depression of co-pilot, and that he received injections of anti-psychotic medication back in 2010, so this seems to affirm his mental health issues.
They have now identified 60 bodies. Yes, what a horrific thing to know you are going to die a violent death. I think of the all the souls who knew they were going to die and were helpless due to a mentally ill person at the controls. How does this happen? Someone knew, the doctors, friends. I understand that he was able to "hide" some of his symptoms, but, right now, I am unable to comprehend why the doctors who were treating him did not notify the airlines. Then we get into responsibility of airlines. The blame is ongoing, but yes, what a devastating thing for the loved ones to deal with, because of a preventable event. I'll say it again, the crazies walk among us and hopefully we won't come face to face with them.
