Trump for president
Uh huh, Maggot.

Too bad Donald Trump doesn't prefer to separate people the way you say you do, instead of separating them by religion, race, and ethnicity.

Voting totals for Trump/Clinton

Trump: 1,173,893
Clinton: 1,940,580

This is for California and only for the 2. Bernie is not included.

Yeah, Clinton kicked Trump's ass in California. So did Bernie with over 1.5 million votes. The Democrats got 3.5 million votes to the Republican's 1.2 million.

Trump says he's gonna turn California from blue to red in the general election in November. He's high; we're way too diverse a state for Trump to win here.

I wonder if maybe Trump's quite willing to alienate minorities with his rhetoric, with the goal of inspiring a record number of disgruntled whites who resent minorities to go to the polls. It wouldn't surprise me if Trump's aim is to more than make up for the net loss of non-white votes that way.

DC is the only primary remaining. So far across the country, each party earned about 28 million popular votes, best I can tell.

I don't know why you feel like you have such great insight into California life and feel so compelled to stereotype a state and the people living in it, Maggot. But, I can guess as to your motivations.

It's funny and not atypical for you.

I don't believe that I have such powers, and I'm not compelled to do the same. I'm a realist.

I don't believe that California has cornered the market on the non-bigotry scale, there is plenty of that to go around and it comes in all colors. Plenty of democrats and liberals are bigots and control freaks. The republicans don't have a majority in that department and I would say there is a 5050 split there IMO. But you may dispute that as is your right.
If California feels they have enough money and resources to take in and care for every illegal that's fine with me also. Its a great state that has some fine weather at any rate.

I didn't remotely suggest any of those things in your post, but I understand your views.

Since I like diversity rather than resenting it, I find California a good interesting place to live socially, though there are downsides and trade-offs like anywhere else.

And, I understand it wouldn't be a good interesting place for you to live, based on your many posts.

I was in California for a year it's really not a bad place I just hate the government there. The people are fine (although some are quite strange) and I even liked the Mexicans they would smile just the same feeding you or sliding the knife in. But from a few people I've heard from out there they have changed a bit. All in all I think I hate that the legislature and the celebrities try and tell other people how to live. That's my beef really. It bugs me.

Well that and the taxes. And maybe the earthquakes a little. Waiting for the big one might force me to take pills like userfoot.

Yeah, I see why it's best that you stay clear of California.

There's never been a time where I felt restricted from doing what I wanted to do here because it would be breaking the law. I also don't see or get told what to do by celebrities living in California (or living anywhere else in the country or the world).

And, I know that immigrants contribute more to the economy than they absorb, and immigrants are some of my most compassionate and reliable employees and friends. It's expensive to live here; no doubt. But, I know that if/when I can no longer afford to live here, I can move somewhere else or work with the many local politicians and activists who are pushing for legislation to lower the cost of living.

I imagine you prefer New Hampshire for your own reasons. I have no negative notions about all people who choose to live in New Hampshire, nor of the state itself. Different strokes...

I won't hold my breath for that anointment, Mags. I'm no saint.

I'm just realistic and don't project my challenges and problems on to other people and groups. I know how fortunate I am to live in the U.S. (in the state of my choice) and never forget it, even though we're far from perfect and there are problems with our political system -- same as every other country's and state's political system.

We live in the United States of America, the greatest country in the world. We da man. In some countries we could possibly be killed for what we do in Mock. I know I'm fortunate to be able to say what I want, to who I want. Being allowed to express our opinions in any way we choose is no small thing.
