Just wanted to add for the non-Americans on here (Fryguy) that we already celebrate the 4^th of July as a nation and there's already a parade and fireworks at the National Mall in DC.  He's trying to take credit for something that already exists, just like the barrier/fence/wall that's being upgraded with money that Obama approved.

I am not seeing the big deal. Are we saying over the top hand gestures two or three years in, are alien concepts?

Gov Northam "Mr. Blackface" endorced the bill right before the black face mess. This is just one instance there are more. Cuomo in N.Y. has also backed the bill.
