I'm gonna reiterate, here, that there is no way in hell (imo) that Johnny lived in her parents' house. I thinks that's a misunderstanding that arose from JC's mother saying, in her 911 call, "my son lives at XXXX Longacre Lane...". Everyone just glossed over her following up with saying he was HOUSE SITTING while Lisa's parents were away.

Lisa Straub, 20, and her boyfriend, Johnny S. Clarke, 21, were found dead in Miss Straub’s family home on Longacre Lane. Their wrists had been bound with tape and their heads covered with plastic bags. Both died from asphyxiation.

Detectives have said they believe the pair were killed in “a robbery gone bad.”

Aside from the fact she is holding a beer and smoking in several pictures and the initial posts are from 2004 on those photos deducing that she was 16 years old when they were taken and posted.

Certainly not meaning to question anyone's parenting skills but in this day and age as a parent would you not monitor or at least out of curiousity view you not so private 16 year old daughters Myspace page?

I just think that alot of people are jumping to the conclusion that Johhny was the bad seed and that his dealings were the one's that contributed to this atrocity, when it is quite feasible it may be Lisa's connections as well. For instance, Tiffany Williams attends Owens Community College as did Lisa, so it is quite feasible that she was originally a friend of Lisa's.

This is crazy, we all know that the families are distraught. I believe it must be one on JC's family members running the page bc of the frequent mentioning of his family and their stress. Why do they keep telling us how upset his little brothers are-there are resources available for grieving, use them and stop telling the world! This is the new FB/SocialNetworking mentality. Many people have gotten so addicted to FaceBook that they report every cup of coffee, every physical function, and every feeling or emotion, no matter how trivial.

So naturally they would feel a strong compelling need to report and describe their grief over such a horrible tragedy and loss, and it does for them serve a healthy and constructive purpose, much like the great emotional catharsis of unburdening oneself to a counselor or psychologist who merely says "go on …"

Lisa did not attend a Catholic Highschool, she may have attended events, but she was a 2009 graduate of Springfield High School. I also tend to agree that she was not quite so innocent (smoking and drinking while being underage in photos) but these are typical teen events, aside from her myspace comment about "getting crunk"

Most true. Another oddity in the facebook posts that stood out to me was the fact that Donald Corrigan's murderer, a juvenile got very little time (six years) for the crime. But, he got three of those years for using a gun. If this crowd considered that, this may be another, albeit odd, explanation for the use of bags.

Well, the guy who killed Corrigan had just been robbed by him. I really hate that "you shouldn't take the law into your own hands" lecture from the judge. I would have given him a suspended sentence, a few years probation and commended him for removing another piece of shit from the gene pool. I'd be the world's most popular judge, too, lol. I believe Lisa initially attended Central but transferred to Springfield and graduated in 2009 from Springfield.

I couldn't agree more about the comments that everyone grieves in their own way. It's just hard to see someone making everything about themselves when they should be focusing on the life that was lost.

I also agree with LT_RN, she needs to stop with the attention seeking and grieve with her family, including the two sons she repeatedly speaks of. I'm sure they could use their mother's comfort instead of having her sit on FB all day.

I had those exact same thoughts while looking at her page. Her terrible spelling/grammar is painful! And from the "stories" on here, I'm willing to bet her kids will end up involved in gangs, drugs, etc just as their mother!

The mother was told that the last thing they heard from her son before his phone went dead, Who are you, what do you want and what are you doing here, then nothing? I am a mother of 2 adult children and believe me, if I would have heard what she heard, I would have called the cops and ran over there as fast as I could!

Actually, I think the mom did exactly that - once she got the phone call, she called 911 (her first 911 call), and then it seems as though she drove to the house herself (with cousin) and enroute made the 2^nd call to 911.

If Tiffany was not involved (and my mind is not made up on that one way or the other) and she didn't have knowledge of any pre-planned robbery, etc, she probably didn't want to call the police herself, knowing that there were likely drugs in the house. Imagine how it would've been for her if nothing was wrong, but still, she sent the police to her friends' house, replete with drugs and drug paraphernalia,while JC and LS were passed out from too much partying. When I used to party, the last thing I'd ever want was the cops to show up at my door - even to check on my safety.

I noticed right away the tats Johnny had were prison related as well, just from past experience as a mental health nurse-
(Did work in jails/detox centers). You can tell by the ink color, quality, and the Old English style writing of his last name across the back too......my mom always told us growing up, that LE likes the guys with the names tatted on back, because when they are running from cops, they can see the last name.
I took notice of Tiffany's ex too, and the whole world they are all involved in. I am still torn on if this was a set up/robbery etc. gone bad, or if this was a deliberate torture/kill for revenge.
Was it mentioned anywhere that the bags and the tape were wound VERY tightly around the victims' heads?

I agree! That's partially what has me so skeptical of the mom! If you've read through the thread, there are a lot of comments thinking the mother knows more than she's saying.

The mother called the cops as soon as she a call from Serita, relaying the info about Tiffany talking to Johnny. Two hours had passed between the call Johhny-Tiffany call and the mother being informed.

Look at this circle of people. They're all a bunch of low lifes and criminals. People like that aren't going to immediately call the police about anything. Johhny was recently out of prison and on probation. If drugs were involved then calling the cops would have gotten him busted. Criminal activity was going on that night, most likely, and no matter who knew what, these aren't the type of people who look to the cops when shit comes down.
