Lisa Irwin 10 Mos. missing. MO
Ok, on 96.5 the buzz about 20 min. ago, a guy called said he was associated with the police dept. And he brought up the dumpster fire from that same night that was suppose to be close to their home. I remember them reporting the fire, but didn't think much of it. Of course no child was in the dumpster, but they think they might have put the cell phones in this dumpster. Of course this is only a random guy talking about this, and no way of knowing the creditabilty of this guy. But I wonder if this could really be true. He said they did take the dumpster as evidence. I don't know, it's getting fishy! I still am hoping to be proved wrong.

KANSAS CITY, Mo.—

An early morning dumpster fire on Tuesday led investigators to search a Johnson County landfill in the Lisa Irwin case. By late afternoon Friday, the search had moved to the Irwin backyard.

In addition to the landfill search, the investigators with the FBI Evidence Response Team began searching the neighborhood around the Irwin home with metal detectors and by hand. There is no word on what investigators are looking for, specifically.

Police said someone reported a dumpster fire at an apartment complex at 4897 NE 37th Street at 2:27 a.m. on Tuesday, October 4. The dumpster is less than a half a mile away from the Irwin home. Friday's search was the second time investigators visited the landfill.

Ok I can't find a report on this yet but people are saying the babys clothes were found in the dumpster that was set alight and that the mothers phone was found in the back yard with a text message from her brother at 2.30am saying ' I'm ready when you are '

ABC news has reported that a police took a teenage neighbor in for questioning and also took DNA sample from him but still have no suspects.
The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

Hi Jezreel, The part about the text message really sounds like a rumor. Who would be that stupid? Is this info coming from local people or are they just rumors floating around the web?

Jez, that was just a rumor about the clothes and text message. I went to the website where that was written by a guy that calls himself "KC Crimefighter". He has since backed off his "exclusive info" and is back to speculating about the phones.

He claims to have insider knowledge that he won't disclose because he has a vendetta against the local media. I read thru his blogs and he just seems to be rehashing the same stories we hear in the media with a little racism ranting thrown in.

I hope little baby Lisa is found sooner rather than later and this won't drag out. But just for the record I am posting some FB comments from the grandfather before they disappear. I guess this is Debbie's dad, the one mentioned in the message by her uncle that I posted yesterday. Kind of long but some good info in here.........

Please! Before you point the fingers at someone that you DON'T know put yourself in their shoes!! Number one NO ONE knows how Jeremy normally acts. I can tell you its not like he is now!! He LOVES the baby, in fact the baby is a "Daddy's Girl". Number 2 ANY thing is possible in this day and age! And I bet NO ONE here can say that they have NEVER forgotten to lock a door before...... And believe me you have NOT seen everything that the police have done. Sure they have done a HUGE amount of GOOD things and I commend each and everyone one of them. But let me ask you all this, "Have ANY of you ever been interrogated for 12 hours before?" I guarantee that if you haven't that you have NO IDEA how horrible it is!! So PLEASE, before you post some negative thing, please think like it was happening to you.

You are right Samantha. Some people do not ever need the facts.. Some of them have already made up their minds from the tiny bit of knowledge that they have from MY family. That is MY baby grand daughter that is missing. I know my daughter and my son in law. I truly don't care how "strange" SOME people may think it looks. I KNOW how MY family thinks and feels. It's unfortunate that the few haters that jump to conclusions. It makes me wonder what type of family that THEY come from if they truly are so easy and quick to point the finger at MY family. Perhaps they need to examine themselves first before examining another. This post probably won't even be read. :(

Here is a quick note about the 3 missing cell phones. Debbie's cell phone had been acting up and the speakers and microphone on it were continually only working intermittently. So Sunday October 2 when Debbie, Jeremy, Blake, Michael, and Lisa came over to Debbie's grandparents (My Mom and Dad) house to celebrate Blake's birthday my Dad gave Debbie his old plain jane phone that has NO way to collect contact information on it. Debbie transferred the service from her old phone to the one that my Dad (her Grandpa) gave her. When she went home later that night she had both of her phones out and started coping numbers one by one into the phone she got from her Grandpa. She didn't get them all done of course so she left them on the table. Jeremy's PERSONAL cell phone was also on the table. These 3 phones were the ones that were stolen. Jeremy also has a WORK phone which he uses for work so he left his cell phone on the table when he went to work. Moving ahead to Tuesday. Debbie was taken to the police station for questioning of course as a routine procedure and Jeremy stayed at the neighbors at that time. Debbie had Jeremy's work phone with her when she went to the police station thinking that she could be contacted once there if necessary. Well she had no idea what was going to happen and Jeremy's WORK cell phone was confiscated. Of course it still has not been returned. So today Tony her brother put Grandma's old phone on our cell plan so that Debbie and Jeremy would have a way to communicate with us. Just want to show people how jumping to conclusions is NOT the way to go. These words are the FACTS. Please, once again I ask, think before you post negative things. This is already hard enough for our family to endure.

There is a difference between not cooperating and refusing to be talked to like you are garbage!!

Like I said before don't believe everything you see or hear. The work phone at that time was with Jeremy and he was at work. Not sure about a 2:30 call. Keep in mind that I don't know everything either.
I have been home off and on today. I am a student, yeah I know I am old but I am trying to get a degree. Anyway, I had to return to classes or else I would never be able to catch up. I have only talked to my youngest son today as Debbie and Jeremy were asleep after having to meet with reporters so very early this morning. I truly APPRECIATE EVERYONE'S efforts to help find my grand daughter. I just want to say "Thank you" to any and all people involved in helping us be re-united with her.

I truly hope it is her so this living nightmare can end.

Mike LeRette — a cousin of the baby's mother, Deborah Bradley, and a spokesman for the family — said lawyers are now working with the family to set up a trust fund that would accept donations for a reward fund.

i had a LARGE major post in here earlier and it is gone!! do not ask me how angry i am. it was photos etc as well as comments.

these people are being wined and dined by major networks, refusing the local media, refusing the police. they SAY they will talk to them, then don't.

this is like the fucking greedy lying anthonys. here comes the donations fund.

major networks= licensing fees for photos. local media does not. so think about it. $$$$$

"Kansas City police confirmed Saturday that investigators are trying to arrange a fresh interview with Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin to discuss their missing daughter, 10-month-old Lisa Irwin.

Police spokesman Steve Young said the interview has not yet taken place, but that investigators were working Saturday to make a “sit down” with the couple happen."

Sweet little Lisa strongly resembles my friend's babies (they are older now). Beautiful child. Sincerely hoping she is found alive, as unlikely as it seems at this point.
Off-topic rant: She is too young to be in a forward-facing car seat. Though that seems to be the least of her problems at the present.

Thanks Nina, I thought they were probably rumors as I could not find any news reports confirming them.

Mike LeRette is the name that posted on the TV station that things were taken from the house early this week. I posted about it w/o his name at time. Glad they are working on a reward with a lawyer.

it is very strange to me the FBI did not offer a reward at the start from their slush fund. which is what they usually do.

donations fund by family lawyer stinks of anthonys.

Front facing seats are based on weight and height though, from the description given of her she meets all requirements to be in a forward facing one.

I agree that she meets the weight requirement for the larger seat, but those car seats should still be rear-facing. From a safety standpoint, not legal. Though I can't comprehend her weighing 25-30 pounds at 10 months, she seems smaller. My 5 month old weighs 16 pounds and he's a chunker! Smiley_emoticons_biggrin Anyway, I'm not saying it shows neglect or anything. From all the pictures it SEEMS as though she was loved and well cared for.
