He completely gave himself away by saying "white person's slot". Not only is he assuming black inferiority, he's also assuming white superiority, which is blatantly racist. Not a good look for someone that presents himself as supporting meritocracy.

Yep. Here again, I think there’s an argument to be made for meritocracy (Asian people are likely to win, as a wild generalization, lol), but yes…you can’t argue meritocracy and simultaneously claim that white people are victims.

There are so many things that factor into that. Race aside, I think income inequality is more relevant.

I like the idea of meritocracy but there are serious problems that arise when resources are allocated on the presumption of merit, e.g., executive compensation.

Yeah. IDK, does a society/country set a cap on compensation?
That’s not appalling to me but in what country is that working? The Nordic countries? I honestly don’t know if there’s a good model out there.

I do know I’m sick of my country right now. Terribly unpatriotic and I know some would be “…don’t let the door hit u on ur way out” blah, blah. Don’t anyone fucking bother.

Funny. Someone trolled my town’s FB page with a post:
“Are we going to have a vigil for Charlie Kirk here?”.

BOOM!!!

Outcry and people responding to the Kirk haters. Sad microcosm of society.

In our society a CEO goes into a corporation to extract wealth for the investor class by ruthlessly cutting costs, to the point that long-term profitability is destroyed. It's cannibalism, but it's considered to be meritorious by the people who own the politicians. The antithesis of social responsibility, but the masses are conditioned to see it as acceptable behavior.

It works both ways, you also think that those who you agree with are the voice of reason and I’m UNreasonable.
I dunno Duch, I don't mind getting into a scuffle with Sally from time to time. Never boring.

I dunno.  If they have a good agent . . . maybe?
Does the team have insurance coverage, naming them beneficiaries, upon death, disability, contract termination or criminal convictions?
Don't know that one, too.

Shooter's truck, and apparently an IED was found inside it. The church is on fire.

1 dead, 9 injured. The pictures of the building look quite different than the one you posted Duchess.
Oh it is a Mormon church. And the shooter is dead.

I haven’t gotten recent updates but last I saw, Charlie Kirk = Christian. LDS church…

It’s a religious war on Christians. Incited and/or perpetrated by the left (of course).

Grrrr…
