I've never seen gas priced so high in my life.

The lowest I can remember it being is .99

Fuck. I'm already struggling a little to pay $45 to fill up my tank. Might just be better and cheaper in the long term to sell my car and take the bus and use Uber.

Ask your friends for fucking gas $ if you are going to drive them around! Or at least I hope they buy the cigars and whatever it is you drink.

Fuel was $5.30 or higher this weekend. Not a good time to be doing road trips, but I did one anyway to go camping with some friends.
And the safeway rewards didn't kick in either-a message came up saying "Spend $100 get 10 points" wtf. Last time I went in I got a whole dollar off per gallon.

as I was filling up my Jeep this morning an old ad popped into my mind...

I modified it to fit this thread.

I hope he takes your advice, it's only fair. He shouldn't even have to ask, they should offer!

It’s $2.20/L here now. That’s $6.20/gal for you. Yep

The only friend I regularly drive around lives 10 minutes from me, and is on the route i take home from the cigar shop so i can't really ask him. I sometimes take another friend home but he only lives 4 minutes drive from the cigar shop. And I'm too nice to ask my brother and his neighbor for gas money since they give me free food and weed.

The food & weed make a difference. I'm glad to read they do treat you to that. Food & weed is meaningful.

I'm wondering if they are giving you synthetic oil (which costs more) without asking first. I'm only mentioning it because it happened to me and I had to learn to request regular ol' oil rather than synthetic.

Once you get synthetic oil, you can't switch back to regular oil. Or so I  was told when they asked if I wanted synthetic oil back when I had my Elantra.

I borrowed my neighbors vehicle since my oil change turned in to some maintenance. I took it to the store and noticed it was on E so I added $25 worth of fuel and it sure isn't much, but it will help. She used to watch Bela for me and would never accept any $.

That's so thoughtful, Love Child, good for you.

I saw some people talking on one of my local boards and apparently there is a good samaritan out there who is showing up at random gas stations around here and filling the tanks of senior citizens that they see. Such a lovely gesture.
