I think I broke my toe. My daughter’s dog stole a banana peel out of the trash and was getting ready to swallow it. I got her to drop it and I put my foot on it to keep her from grabbing it again, my foot slid right off of it and smacked the end table. Apparently slipping on a banana peel is a real thing. Fucking things are dangerous.

It was pretty ridiculous, but not as bad as the other day when I tripped over the dishwasher door. I was carrying in a big rug from the garage that was blocking my view and I forgot I left it open. I went flying right over it. Luckily no one saw me and I didn’t break the damn door off.

My old Newfoundland decided to take himself out for a walk one night and by then his legs were getting really bad and he collapsed in my neighbors yard. I went to get him and they had a fucking hole in their yard that I walked right into, I went down hard. I was just laying there with a twisted ankle and my dog next to me thinking “oh Jesus Christ, please don’t let these people come out here”.

That’s exactly how I fractured my damn foot in 5 places. I blame my damn dog for pulling me and the lip of my rain boot for getting caught in the lowest stair.

But yeah, I’ve done it inside too (with no consequence besides being embarrassed).
