If so, Duchess would be Queen of the Stone Age.

IDK about that but a person has to command their own futures.

Sure, but at the rate we're going, how much longer will there be gasoline to run the generators?

Too bad cold fusion never panned out.

I'm looking into solar powered gererators! Don't need no stinkin gas!

I need one too. I do have a couple of gas ones, but my husband uses them for work, not to run the whole house. They're loud as hell too, I didn't even use them when we lost power with the last hurricane.

People are worried their power will go out more often now that the electrical generators are getting shut down. I would advise people to get on the list now before winter.

Good idea actually.

Maybe I'll go back to the mountains for a while.

Tell me more about this.

How does it work for those that live in the trees, in the shade or in the dead of winter? Or during a storm?

I use propane for mine and solar is very unreliable so far. Maybe if a Tesla battery was used along with solar. You need a place to put the juice when it's getting produced but not used for solar.

That makes sense. I was wondering about that.

Then you draw off the battery. maybe even a military type battery. It could be combined with 4-5 smaller wind type circular generators. This stuff all takes money but it's available. In Greenland and Iceland they use geo-thermal to heat all their houses.

Right now, from what I found out SPG’s are not 100% reliable. As on cloudy, rainy days energy collection
is low. There are problems of efficiency.
There is a high initial capital cost.
And a large area is required for the solar panels.

At this time, it seems SPG’s are not quite there yet.

We continue to have more thunder storms
It is creating flash flooding
rocks along the roadways, which I missed the other day and drove right over them because you couldn't see them on the hill.
The rain is good, the moisture is good, but then it sucks in the place that had fire last year.

It is miserably hot here. Several mornings this week it has been 80 degrees in the dark before dawn. I feel like my AC isn't even stopping to take a breath, it's going all day, all night. As long as it's not storming I am good to go.   44

Wish I had money for an AC and the huge electric bills. These 2 box fans are making it just barely tolerable in this high heat.
