Wish I had money for an AC and the huge electric bills. These 2 box fans are making it just barely tolerable in this high heat.

Yep you’re right about the huge bills, the one that came yesterday would knock your eyes out!  hah
But,  we are comfortably cold.

I'm too cold at work. They have the AC set on meat freezer.

The humidity is the killer!
20% is unheard of here in SNAKEland, (I HATE SNAKES) so when we have 80, 90 % humidity,
it makes it feel like 115!
It’s actually unhealthy, I pity the poor people that have “outdoor” jobs.

The humidity seems to vary. I never watch it much, but a friend from Michigan asked if that is why we have such high fire danger.

Tonight it has cooled down to 88 so far and there is this wind that is knocking one of my plants around, it is strange to feel the hot wind.

Its like Clang and Big Mark are just standing right next to my sunflower plant whipping it around.

I'm at 6000 feet in a heatwave instead of 2000 normally but don't have my leather recliner, it's in storage in case we have to live in some hell before moving to Europe.

I try very hard not to complain about the godawful humidity here because I'd rather have that than the violent storms that hit the peninsula, but sometimes it's hard.

It's 92 degrees in South Carolina and this huge oceanfront hotel doesn't have adequate air conditioning. Our room is sweltering hot. I had them adjust the price, this is bullshit. Every hotel we've been to so far has had problems with the AC. That doesn't happen in Florida, if the AC breaks it's an emergency.

Some hotels have large ice dispensers. Maybe you could climb in and chill out. Blowing-kisses

No AC in that kind of heat sounds miserable.

I couldn't even touch my steering wheel today it was so hot and I felt like my skin was being burned just walking from my car to the building.

I am freezing.
After 2 dunks in the lake and coming home to AC
I am sitting in stretch pants, a sweatshirt and a hat.
